We are now into winter and our Health concerns have changed.  Now the concerns we need to be aware of are as follows:

1)  Exposing your pets to winter weather.  While dogs and cats have fur coat, they're still vulnerable to wind and water.  If your pet lives outdoors, provide a fully sheltered area with dry bedding.  For more information please go to this site using this link and read the entire article.  PETS IN WINTER CONDITIONS.!!!

2)  Beware of Ethylene glycol better known as antifreeze.  It is a clear, odourless liquid with a sweet taste which is attractive to cats, and dogs.  For more information please go to this site using this link and read the entire article.  ANTIFREEZE POISONING IN CATS AND DOGS.!!!

3)   And one of the most DANGEROUS of all is CHOCOLATE!!!  People do not realize how Cholcolate can kill their dear pet.  Especially puppies and kittens, who are known for eating things when they are not suppose to.  Chocolate is derived from the toasted seeds of Theobroma cacao, which contains properites that can be toxic to animals: caffeine and theobromine.  For more information please go to this site using this link and read the entire article.
